Position Type: Transportation Date Posted: 9/9/2024 Location: Transportation Date Available: 2024/2025 School Year Closing Date: Until Filled District: Huntley School District 158 - website Transportation Van Driver LOCATION OF WORK: Transportation at District Office STARTING DATE: 2024/2025 School Year RANGE OF PAY: $18.70 / per hour WORK HOURS: 10 months / 4 - 6 hours a day CLASSIFICATION: HESPA APPLICATION DEADLINE: Until Filled SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Drives Van to transport students over specified routes to local or distant points as directed by a schedule, and the Route Manager. SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS: The successful applicant must possess a High School diploma or GED; Must be at least age 21; able to pass a pre-employment physical with a drug and alcohol screening; pass IDOT physical and complete written exam at DMV for a class B Endorsement. Have a valid IL License with a clean record; must satisfactorily complete training necessary for bus/van evacuation, first aid, CPR certification and blood borne pathogens. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and have the ability to sit or stand for long durations.
