Description Are you a customer service professional looking for a great opportunity in insurance? You might be a perfect fit for our open insurance customer service representative role. You'll be in charge of giving current policyholders excellent customer service by resolving billing issues, amending policies, and making policy suggestions. Additional tasks include generating policy quotes and providing coverage advice for new and potential customers. Compensation: Starting at $40,000-$50,000 based on experience Responsibilities • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification. • Keep track of all customer inquiries and follow up to verify that all questions are answered regarding customer policies • Demonstrate accuracy in processing client policy modifications based on the data given • Validate client insurance coverage and present policyholders with proof of insurance documents • Stay up-to-date on new marketing efforts to answer insurance product inquiries utilizing all the resources available • Answer incoming call center questions about insurance policies and insurance coverage issues, as well as consumer complaints and general inquiries Qualifications • Must be a "Team Player", trainable and eager to learn. Be coachable. • Effective communication skills (oral, written, and telephone), strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to respond to requests effectively and efficiently • Self-motivated and driven • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude • FL 4-40 license or be willing to obtain within first 45 days • Bilingual in Spanish and English • Basic knowledge of insurance policy procedures and schedules is preferred • You must have previous customer service experience for this position • Position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent • Must possess exemplary interpersonal skills, communication skills, and active listening skills • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office and customer relationship management software
