Summary The Advanced Practice Provider for (General, Interventional and Heart Failure) Medical-Cardiology Division will provide direct expert care to patients with a variety of cardiovascular care in the hospital and outpatient practice setting. The Advanced Practice Provider is accountable for performing clinical duties to assist the cardiologist and staff in the care of cardiology patients. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program OR Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited PA program. Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (if applicable). Currently licensed to practice as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Previous experience as an APP or as a cardiac registered nurse (if applicable) Meets the requirement for prescriptive authority privileges in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Valid driver's license, proof of motor vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications Graduate of Masters and/or Doctorate Nurse Practitioner Program with concentration in family, Adult-Gerontology Primary or Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Graduate from a Masters and/ or Doctorate Physician Assistant Program Advanced Practice Provider must hold National Certifications with ANCC or AANP (APRN/CRNP) and NCCPA (PA)
