Job Description Ensign-Bickford Industries is seeking talented college students to join our internship program next summer! Our 12-week program is designed to provide real-world and hands-on experience in areas that interest you! As an intern, you will collaborate with industry experts to solve real-world challenges and change the way we do business. AFB International is seeking a Science & Technology R&D Intern to support all aspects of our palatant manufacturing located in St. Charles, Missouri. Interns will have an opportunity to learn and support lean manufacturing standards including process flow, kaizen and Six Sigma techniques. The primary responsibility of this position will include data collection and interpretation, root cause analysis and corrective action implementation, and process defect identification and reduction. Successful candidates will be self-starters who can work with cross functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards for quality and documentation is a must in all internship positions. These positions will require the ability to communicate effectively across a variety of departments.
