Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center is looking for a part-time Physician Assistant to join our Cape May Court House, NJ office. This role is in support of the company's CEO and practicing upper extremity physician! Generous paid personal, sick, and vacation time off Flexible work hours Excellent growth and advancement opportunity Employee referral reward program The Physician Assistant Essential Duties and Functions: The Physician Assistant is responsible for providing patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of the designated supervising staff physician, including assisting physician in cases, obtaining medical and personal histories, educating patients and families, and prioritizing and assessing patients. A few responsibilities of the Physician Assistant include but are not limited to: Obtaining patient information and perform assessments Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic procedures Consult directly with physician to assess the patient's condition and treatment options Ensure that medical charts and administrative paperwork is updated/completed Provide monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits. Monitor patients and administers medications according to division policy. The Physician Assistant Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physician Assistant required. Unrestricted Pennsylvania License Graduate of accredited program for Physician Assistant required. Bachelor's degree required. Exceptional customer facing verbal communication skills with a proven ability to interact effectively with a variety of external and internal constituents. Ability to work well under pressure. Athena or other EMR proficiency highly preferred
