SITECH Chesapeake, a wholly owned subsidiary of Carter Machinery Company, Inc., is hiring a Construction GPS Territory Sales Manager in Manassas, Virginia. SITECH is the authorized dealer for Trimble Heavy and Civil construction products and services, as well as Accugrade grade control products, with a territory to include central Maryland, Maryland Eastern Shore, and lower Delaware. The Construction GPS Territory Sales Manager is responsible for consulting with and improving the business success of all customers in an assigned SITECH territory, primarily through direct face-to-face contact, as well as telephone and email contact. Develop and propose technology solutions thereby increasing hardware and service sales. Seeking candidates with a minimum of two years direct face-to-face customer service and/or sales experience. Experience with surveying, estimating, construction equipment, earthmoving operations preferred. Experience with construction technologies such as Trimble, Topcon, Leica, Spectra a plus. Requirements for the Construction GPS Territory Sales Manager position include: Must be a strong communicator with excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to develop and execute effective action plans and handle customer situations to produce results. Must be well organized, able to prioritize workload and handle several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines. Must be capable of effectively negotiating and closing deals. Must be able to travel and work flexible hours as required. Must have a clean driving record. Promote a positive customer experience.
