Insomnia Cookies, a rapidly growing, internationally recognized, multi-unit retail bakery company is seeking a Facilities Coordinator who will be responsible for overseeing all activities inside our stores & corporate office, making sure that health and safety standards are met and arranging for repairs when needed. This role is based out of our HQ in Center City Philadelphia and reports to our Facilities Support Manager. Sweet Position Perks : * A competitive base salary plus annual bonus compensation package * Enrollment in our Cookie Jar deferred compensation program * Excellent comprehensive benefits coverage that includes medical, dental, vision, prescription plans and pet insurance * 401K with contribution match * 3 weeks paid vacation plus 2 Insomnia Cookies personal wellness days Job Responsibilities: Source, schedule and follow up with outside vendors, contractors and repair companies to fix issues regarding HVAC, electrical, carpentry, kitchen equipment, plumbing and general repair/maintenance Drafts and implements preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment Arrange and present multiple estimates for approval for projects Work with an assigned territory to assist stores as needed Negotiate pricing for any repairs quoted for repairs at the stores. This would include projects for HVAC, electric, plumbing, kitchen equipment and general handyman Maintain customer satisfaction with our internal customer (the store teams) by understanding customer needs, communicating progress updates with the customer, and by holding customer service as top priority Manage the CMMS system, including receiving work request, assigning work orders, entering system data, and providing the overall system administration Other duties as they arise and as the team expands Desired skills/experience: 2 + years working with outside vendors, contractors and repair companies to resolve and repair any facilities issues that may arise Must be comfortable working with and negotiating pricing with trades' professionals: HVAC, electrical, carpentry, kitchen equipment and plumbing Detail oriented problem solver with the goal of a one stop resolution Must be able to multi-task and prioritize with exceptional organizational and time management skills, managing multiple projects simultaneously The ability to develop strong relationships with vendors while holding them accountable to timelines Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Programs, excel, outlook, word, etc.. Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment, while also being able to work independently, without regular direct supervision Ability to perform and manage technically complex projects using independent judgment and personal initiative. Recognize and act on opportunities; adjust direction when situation warrants Must be a provider of excellent customer service Must be willing to be on call, on a rotating schedule Must be willing/able to work through emergency work orders/situations, to the end, asking for help if needed About us: Insomnia Cookies was founded in a college dorm room by then-student, Seth Berkowitz.
