JOB SUMMARY The Front End Coordinator is responsible for research and processing of payor and clearinghouse rejections stemming from electronically filed medical claims to insurance companies that are unable to bill until rejection is resolved. Work involves researching and resolving the rejection type, requiring updates within the clearinghouse as well as the patient accounting system. Effective resolution of clearinghouse rejections allows the medical claim to successfully file to the insurance company for processing. Rejections are time-sensitive and must be resolved according to payor requirements to ensure timely payment of medical claims. Applications extensively utilized for this purpose are Availity, Imagine, eRAD, IDX, Excel, various payor links and hospital systems. You will: Ability to efficiently work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of medical claims with proven ability to work with multiple practices and tasks. Strong attention to detail. Analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze issue to determine resolution and maximize efficiency. Microsoft Office experience with strength in Excel. Excellent organizational skills. Type and 10-key skills. Web navigation ability. If You Are: Prior AR follow-up/medical billing experience desired. Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills. Ability to deal with change. Demonstrate a positive attitude towards continuous improvement. Able to respond appropriately even in challenging situations. Able to positively motivate others. Able to work without direct supervision.
