The Paraplanner is responsible for providing educational and consultative financial planning strategies to financial advisors to ensure the efficient delivery of financial planning services. The Paraplanner collaborates with advisors, gathers client information, and conducts research for the creation, analysis, and recommendation of financial plans. What you will do here: Financial Analysis and Research: Collaborate with financial advisors to gather client information and assess financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences. Conduct thorough research on investment products, insurance options, and other financial instruments to provide accurate recommendations that align with client needs. Utilize financial planning software and tools to create detailed financial projections, retirement plans, and investment scenarios. Plan Preparation: Assist advisors in creating comprehensive financial plans by preparing documents, reports, and presentations that outline recommended strategies and solutions. Ensure accuracy and compliance with industry regulations and internal policies when generating financial plans. Data Management: Analyze client's income, taxes, insurance policies, expenses, assets, and debt. Maintain an organized system for managing client data, ensuring the security and confidentiality of sensitive information. Update and maintain accurate records of client interactions, plan revisions, and other relevant information. Client Communication: Collaborate with advisors to schedule and coordinate client meetings, providing support in organizing and preparing necessary documents and materials. Communicate with clients professionally and efficiently, addressing any queries or concerns they may have about their financial plans. Business Partnerships and Relationships: Manage, maintain, and develop Internal and external business partnerships (e.g., retail, marketing, product partners, etc.) while building positive relationships. Act as a liaison within our broker dealer and OSJ for compliance and operational support. Compliance: Adhere to all industry regulations, legal requirements, and internal compliance standards when assisting in the creation of financial plans. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. What you will need: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. 5+ years of Financial Services experience required. 3+ years of financial planning, paraplanning, and/or advisor support experience required. Proficient in financial planning software required. Project prioritization and time management skills required. Strong communication skills, verbal and written required. Strong follow-though, organized, detail oriented, resourceful, and proactive required. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information required. Understanding of regulatory compliance within the financial services sector required. Certified Financial Planner (CFP) preferred. Financial Planner Qualified Professional (FPQP) preferred. Series 7 - General Securities Representative preferred. Series 66 - Uniform Combined State Law preferred. We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.
