Description We're searching for a diligent office assistant to provide administrative support for PearsonRavitz . You'll be responsible for responding to all complaints and questions in a friendly and timely manner, implementing office standards to streamline our processes, scheduling appointments, and company trips, ordering office equipment, and marketing our brand through community events and print and digital mediums. Applicants should be extremely thorough, possess excellent communication skills, and have some background in customer service. No insurance experience is needed for this role as we're happy to train and teach you the ins and outs of the industry. Send us your resume today to become part of the team! Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000 Benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability 401k program Open to Hybrid Work (Remote/In Person - Must be local to the area still) Responsibilities • Assisting the Policy Update Advisor in completing applications for policy updates • Providing the Policy Update Advisor with clear and regular updates on workload, the status of relevant clients in the update process, etc. • Continually monitoring your performance and finding ways to improve on your processes; sharing these improvements with the rest of the team to help better all of PearsonRavitz's workflows • Purchase office equipment when appropriate • Facilitate communication between our customers and team to ensure customer satisfaction • Generate status reports as requested so the team is informed with progress reports • Utilize the website, social media, and printed materials to raise our visibility in the community • Strengthen existing abilities and gain new ones by participating in training opportunities Qualifications • Customer service-oriented, agile, inquisitive, and not afraid of a high volume of communications in many forms (email, text, phone, etc.) • Strong organizer and multitasker; love to create systems and maintain them • Don't find any task too small - as with any small team, you never know where your assistance will be needed! Bonus Points if you: • Have experience working with G Suite or Salesforce • Have experience in the insurance industry • Technologically savvy; basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel programs and filing systems with the ability to learn new programs quickly and troubleshoot common issues • Shows ability to quickly finish very detailed work • Shows great interpersonal skills and excellent written communication • Customer service experience in our industry is preferred
