Computer database/word processing skills, knowledge of Microsoft, Excel, PowerPoint, Google, ELIS and e-mail are recommended Consistent and positive customer interactions Organizational Skills Ability to maintain confidentiality Flexibility to meet the needs of the organization Performance Responsibilities: Maintain a professional environment at all times Responds to phone calls, mail, email, and in-person customers regarding all licensure inquiries and needs as well as questions on use of ELIS Communicates with the State Board of Education by phone and email Provides training to educators on the use of the Educator Licensure System Runs licensure reports for School Districts Presents to KCHRC as appropriate Collects and maintains all information regarding licensure requirements and changes Makes presentations to update districts and educators of new licensure changes and information Works cooperatively with other staff to accomplish the office tasks and keep the organization running smoothly Scan and record documents/transcripts into ELIS Ability to maintain confidentiality Assist with mail and package delivery Answer general calls and respond if possible Pearson - Proctors exams administered by ETS and Pearson * Any and all responsibilities assigned by the Regional Superintendent or Cabinet level supervisor
