Salary Range Hourly: BR/hour (for a new grad); BR/hour Maximum (for a candidate with a lot of experience) Possible Sign-On Bonus and/or Relocation Assistance discussed during interview. 18% Perm Placement Fee The LPN supports the primary care providers in the delivery of health care to patients by performing a variety of activities and procedures which are prescript by and performed under the direction of the primary care provider(s) or registered nurse licensed in New Hampshire. The Office Nurse (LPN) is integrally involved in observation and care of the ill, injured or infirm and safeguards the life and health of patients. The LPN actively directs of patient flow within the office, assists in patient education and is responsible for keeping clinical areas in appropriate condition for efficient delivery of health care services. He or she will be required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties requested by his or her supervisor. The LPN could work in Family Care, Ortho, or Internal Medicine. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Prepares patients for examination as instructed by the provider. Notes history of present condition of patient in medical record or takes an extended history, as directed by provider. Assists provider with all types of examinations as directed by provider. Administers injections as directed by provider. Removes sutures, cleans wounds, and applies dressing as directed by provider. Assists provider in all special procedures. Washes and dries all instruments used and prepares sterilization as required. Keeps examining rooms, surgical rooms, cast rooms, etc., clean and maintains necessary supplies. Assists the provider in any way that will relieve the pressure on his/her time in the provision of health care to patients. Receives and handles medically related phone calls as directed by provider. Performs a variety of medically related tasks as directed by the provider and particular to his/her specialization.
