The Opportunity: This position is for C Shift Quality Technician depending on education and experience. The hours are Monday - Wednesday 5:00PM - 5:00AM, work 36 hours get paid for 40 hours. This is an hourly position. In this role, you will report to the Quality Supervisor. The Quality Technician will focus on ensuring we have the best products for our customers. Duties and Responsibilities: Adhere to company policies and procedures, including Safety, Quality, and EMS Follow Standardized Work Instructions Perform Check fixture inspections during production activity and record in QA database at the required frequency of the Control Plans. Gather data and report findings within a structured format (use of customer specific format if required) Lead quality team on respective shift Monitor calibrated gages for damage, due dates Issue Internal and External Quality Alerts Lead containment activities when required Train and develop auditors in the QMS system Lead LPA completion on respective shift Assist in the ongoing development and training of policies and procedures relative to the Quality Management Systems Lead shift to shift communication between quality and production leadership. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned We're looking for an Automation Technician with: Experience working within a quality system Experience using measurement gages Ability to read and understand drawings High school diploma/GED preferred Proficient with computer, including Microsoft Office, email, and various software systems Special Skills: Usage of various measuring devices (calipers, Micrometers, check fixtures, scale, MFI, etc.) Understanding customer dimensional submissions Excellent written and verbal communication skills Team building, Problem solving and Root Cause Analysis (8D, 5-why, Fishbone, etc.) Continuous Improvement background
