Contract need (6 months+) for a Payroll Specialist. Must be open to hybrid schedule (part onsite downtown Pittsburg, part work from home). Our client is seeking a Temporary Payroll Specialist with experience in Workday software and direct payroll processing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for employees during this temporary period. This individual will play a crucial role in maintaining payroll records, processing payroll transactions, and assisting with payroll-related inquiries. Responsibilities Process payroll transactions accurately and in a timely manner using Workday software. Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity. Assist with payroll-related inquiries from employees and management. Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations pertaining to payroll processing. Generate payroll reports as needed. Perform other payroll-related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus. Proficiency in Workday software is required. Direct experience with payroll processing is essential. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
