Responsibilities The OB/GYN practice provides comprehensive outpatient gynecological and obstetrical care to patients. Seeking an individual with demonstrated leadership, clinical and management skills. Applicant must have a desire to work collaboratively with a team to promote change and innovation. Accountability for the daily operations of regional ambulatory OB/GYN health practice(s), nursing budget and staff, quality of nursing care provided and managing practice changes to meet patient needs. The position includes direct oversight of Ambulatory Technicians and Nurses. Additionally, works in collaboration with the practice manager and medical director for those clinical area(s). This individual will serve as the ambulatory liaison for outpatient OB/GYN specialty clinics within the program. Must exhibit excellent communication skills, creativity and the ability to focus on teamwork and patient outcomes. MS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, 3-5 years OB/GYN experience required. Qualifications Requires a Master's Degree in Nursing or related field and an active New York State license in good standing. Applicants will have 5 years experience as an RN with one to three years of leadership experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The Nurse Manager directs all aspects of patient care, which includes managing nursing personnel and material resources in a cost-effective manner, unit planning and the initiation of innovative clinical and management practices with emphasis on retention strategies. Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
