This role offers an opportunity to work on impactful projects that enhance mobility and safety in the Chicago area.Key Responsibilities:Design and analyze transportation systems, including roads, highways, and traffic control systems.Conduct traffic studies, including capacity analysis, travel demand forecasting, and safety evaluations.Develop transportation models and simulations to optimize traffic flow and reduce congestion.Prepare detailed engineering reports, design specifications, and construction documents.Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to deliver effective transportation solutions.Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.Provide technical support during the construction phase and address any design-related issues.Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in transportation engineering.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
