Skills Alliance are representing a Global leading Pharmaceutical group in their search for an experienced supply chain Leader based out of Pennsylvania, United states. About the Role: As the Head of Supply Chain, you will oversee purchasing, logistics, strategy planning, and change management. You will lead a team of 10 senior managers located across North America. This role will require travel to our logistics centers in Florida. Previous team management experience is essential.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.- Oversee procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution operations.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and finance, to ensure seamless supply chain operations.- Analyze supply chain performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing.- Manage relationships with key suppliers and logistics partners to ensure reliability and quality.- Lead and mentor the supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in supply chain operations.Required Skills: Proven experience in purchasing, logistics, and strategy planning.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
