LOCATION: PHOENIX, AZ HOURS: MONDAY - FRIDAY DAY SHIFT, AND OCCASIONAL SATURDAYS THE LEAD TECHNOLOGIST is responsible for the daily clinical operations of their assigned centers. This position is critical to Solis Mammography; by providing outstanding care and efficient results, the Lead technologist impacts the profitability of the organization as well as the patient experience. Understands promotes and demonstrates the Solis Way Performs mammography and/or assists with biopsies on as needed basis Monitors clinical staffing levels. Provides excellent patient care, communicates procedures and provides education on an as needed basis to new and existing clinical team members Effectively handles patient complaints as evidenced by patient survey scores and escalates as necessary. Assists center director in MQSA compliance as it relates to tracking, following up and credentials. Ensures compliance with all Policies and Procedures. Ensures supplies are available as needed to meet patient demands. Coordinates service and maintenance of equipment to ensure minimal downtime, as requested by center director Acts as a point of contact for physician offices requiring clinical information and responds to requests within 24 hours. Maintains confidentiality of patient and team member information 100% of the time. TEAM Manages clinical team members on daily basis ensuring compliance with company policies, guidelines, and procedures. Creates and maintains frequent communication and positive relationship with clinical team members as evidenced by surveys and turnovers. Monitors clinical staffing levels and ensures appropriate coverage. Participates in interviews and conducts onboarding orientation for new clinical team members. Communicates team member coaching and counseling opportunities to center Director. Completes incident reports on an as needed basis. Reports harassment and/or discrimination issues to center Director of HR within eight hours. Meets with center director on a weekly basis to review center activities and needs. Participates in performance evaluation discussion on an annual basis. REQUIREMENTS: Strong Desire to serve patients. Strong verbal communication and listening skills. Energetic and flexible. Identifies additional tasks to be complete and willingly assist others. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Prior experience with RIS/PACS preferred. Completion of formal radiologic technologic technology training program. Understands and communicates medical terminology. Current, non- restricted licensure in state of work location is required. Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience. Minimum of two years of healthcare industry experience with ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies preferred. Minimum of two years of supervisory experience preferred.
