Job Description PHYSICAL THERAPIST (SCHAUMBURG) We are seeking a motivated Full Time Physical Therapist for our brand-new Schaumburg location. Our team of Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants are devoted to providing evidence-based manual and therapeutic exercise techniques that are tailored toward efficiently returning patients, athletes, and employees to their pre-injury status. Therapy employees collaborate with a team of Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, Physicians, Nurses, and Physician Assistants that are all dedicated to providing the highest quality of orthopedic care. We are committed to Improving the Quality of Life for our patients, providing comprehensive and compassionate treatment. We provide a friendly atmosphere, allowing quality one-on-one patient care. Experienced Physical Therapists are preferred, but New Graduates are welcome to apply. Mentorship and best practice training is provided for all new hires and continues throughout the course of their professional career. Position Summary: Staff physical therapists perform physical therapy assessments, develop treatment plans with short- and long-term goals, administer treatment modalities and/or procedures, monitor patient progress toward goals and response to therapeutic interventions, document all treatment plans, intervention, progress and response, educate patient and family or caregivers, and effectively plan for discharge. Possession of an Illinois state physical therapy license or eligible. Preferred 1-2 years of outpatient orthopedic experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting. NEW GRADUATES are welcome to apply. Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interact with physicians, patients, and families in providing therapy and exchanging patient progress/condition information. Schedule: Monday through Friday, including two evenings to accommodate patient needs.
