Our team consists of industry leaders who have valuable hands-on experience as plant managers and engineers in industrial settings. We offer complete mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) engineering and design/construction services for companies throughout the manufacturing sector as well as a variety of public, private and institutional clients. Our professionals will perform a thorough analysis of your systems and utilize proven methods to optimize performance. At CHA, the Electrical Engineer II is responsible for the design work on diverse projects from commercial and industrial buildings, power distribution systems, lighting systerms, fire alarm and communication systems. The right candidate will be proficient with design software, specifically Revit and AutoCAD, and will have some ability to decipher building codes. Clear and concise communication is required as the Electrical Engineer II will interface with internal facing clients and external clients as they progress in their role. Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team are key to success in this role. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is required Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required Minimum of 2 years of related Engineering experience required Strong knowledge of engineering, computational, and modeling software, specifically Revit & AutoCAD; knowledge of light design software (e.g., Visual, AGi) is a plus Has a strong theoretical knowledge in the respective engineering field Basic understanding of building code is a plus Demonstrates a strong willingness to learn about the respective engineering discipline Familiar with QA/QC procedures Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences Desire to work in a collaborative team environment with the willingness to assist more senior staff Proficiency with Microsoft Office software required Some local travel may be required occasionally CULTURE/EEO STATEMENT At CHA, we are helping to build a world where thought leadership, social responsibility, and diversity thrive, and we are committed to recruiting, developing, and retaining a highly talented and diverse team of individuals to help us do it.
