Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: Pittsburg Mercy is looking for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join the team. Pittsburgh Mercy is one of the largest community health and social service providers and employers in Southwestern Pennsylvania. We reach out and offer help and hope to some of our community's most vulnerable people and populations. Pittsburgh Mercy has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join our ambulatory team located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The schedule for this full-time opportunity is Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. The selected candidate will provide community-based outpatient services to adults who are experiencing mental health challenges. Services include, but are not limited to, the following: Person-centered treatment planning and care Community-based, integrated behavioral and physical health care services Mental health screening and risk assessment Mental health evaluation and diagnosis Mental health support and treatment services Mental health rehabilitation and recovery services Individual therapy Group therapy Supportive counseling Treatment planning Care management Medication management Mobile Mental Health Treatment Substance use disorder Requirements: Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy required Pennsylvania Medical License; Board certified or eligible in Psychiatry Experience with Psychiatric Services to adults with serious mental illness and substance use disorders Valid Drivers' License required.
