SciTech Services, Inc. (SciTech) is seeking an Engineer to provide support in developing unmanned systems. The Engineer will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise in rapid prototype development, spiral development of technology using fully custom, commercial off the shelf (COTS) and government off the shelf (GOTS) items, technology design and integration, and limited production. Major duties include: Responsible for project management, estimating, planning, procurement, and analysis of assigned tasks and projects. Manage custom design work, fabrication, testing, installation, assessment, and training. Provide hands-on fabrication of hardware solutions. Apply advanced 3D computer-aided design using SolidWorks, Altium, or Eagle. Utilize power tools and hand tools in design fabrication. Familiar with low voltage electronics and troubleshooting. Derive technical requirements from discussions with the customers. Provide briefings and present information to groups. Practical application of mechanical, electrical, Electromechanical, or mechatronics engineering concepts. Design and develop unique design solutions. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering with a minimum of three to five years' experience working with electromechanics and mechatronics. Knowledge of 3D printing. Strong ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot obstacles. Ability to work closely with team members in an ambiguous environment. Physical requirements to work indoors and outside in extreme temperatures, hike on uneven terrain, climb, and lift objects weighing up to 50lbs. Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external staff members, and to work independently.
