LHH is currently accepting applications for an Accounting Clerk with our client located in Warrensville Hts, OH. This is a direct hire position and is onsite. Recent grads and candidates with 1-2 years of experience are encouraged to apply. Pay Range to start - $22-$24 an hour This position is multifaceted with widely varying responsibility within the Finance Department. Provide assistance in Financial projects, daily & monthly tasks, back up the Cash Application role, track and maintain travel expenses, collect receivables through customer portals. Retrieving credit card receipts for multiple managers validating and saving the documents electronically. Perform other credit card functions relating to maintenance and service. Train in various Cash Application processes in order to provide back up for the Cash Application Specialist. Enter invoices and collect payments through various customer portals. Assist credit department in reconciling customer accounts, and record corrections as necessary. Assist in month end close process through recording journal entries and creating and distributing monthly and daily reports. Assist Tax department with overflow of monthly tax filing or collecting support for State audits. Scan, file, and distribute various Finance Department documents for bank and external audits. Provide needed support for other departments in the company that may be short-handed to help maintain financial records within sub-systems. Distribute mail to correct indidviuals for daily processing. Special projects for Finance Department as needed. Qualifications College Degree in Business Accuracy and attention to detail Must be able to respect confidentiality and use discretion when necessary regarding private and or personal data Exceptional organization and time management A high level of self-awareness, receptivity to change and integrity Dependable Proficient in data entry Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and document conversion Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
