Payroll and Benefits Specialist LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Payroll and Benefits Specialist for a growing client in Northern Kentucky. The Payroll and Benefits Specialist will be responsible for managing the payroll processes and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Ideal candidates will have at least 2+ years of payroll processing experience along with some experience in HR. This position is temp to hire and will pay between $24 and $29/hr. Responsibilities Process payroll transactions with precision and in a timely manner. Maintain and update payroll records; ensure that employee changes are entered correctly and made on a timely basis. Work closely with HR to administer employee benefits, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plans, and more. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits, resolving any issues swiftly and compassionately. Prepare reports for upper management, finance department, and external agencies. Stay up-to-date with the latest regulations and trends in compensation and benefits. Qualifications A bachelor's degree in finance, human resources, or a related field if highly preferred Proven experience in payroll processing and benefits administration. Strong knowledge of payroll software, as well as state and federal regulations relating to payroll and benefits. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and payroll processing platforms. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
