Position Details Position Information Recruitment/Posting Title UKG Payroll Specialist, Payroll & Business Services Job Category Staff & Executive - Administrative & Support Department IPO-Budget & Accounting Overview The Division of Institutional Planning & Operations (IP&O) employs a workforce of approximately 2,700 staff, represented by 15 collective negotiations agreements, and is responsible for institutional strategic initiatives and operations, which encompasses an expansive range of comprehensive service and business operations across the State of New Jersey. These include planning and construction, facilities, public safety and emergency operations, environmental health and safety, transportation, housing, and auxiliary/retail operations. Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a UKG Payroll Specialist for the Division of Institutional Planning and Operations' (IP&O).Reporting to the Business Manager of Payroll and Business Services, the Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for the data integrity of all employee records in the Division of Institutional Planning and Operations'(IP&O) workforce management system. This position will directly support all university departments utilizing the IP&O workforce management system the key duties of this position are the following: Responsible for periodic reconciliation of employee records, absence balances and timekeeping/payroll records. Responsible for creating and delivering customized training program s and reference guides as well as recommending internal business processes for the IP&O Payroll Unit. Assist with weekly payroll processing and auditing. Expected to promulgate a work environment conducive to customer service and positive interactions among university staff system-wide.
