**Data Steward Associate Manager, Consumer** CAROUSEL_PARAGRAPH * Purchase, New York * Data and Analytics * 255113BR ** Share Job** **Position Overview:** The Consumer Data Steward role is responsible for working within the Global Data Governance team and with their local businesses to maintain alignment to the Enterprise Data Governance's (EDG) processes, rules and standards set to ensure data is fit for purpose. The EDG Data Steward will be the single point of contact for those creating and consuming data within their respected data domain(s). Additionally, they will be driving the team to interact directly with key domain and project stakeholders, the EDG Lead, Governance Council, other data stewards across the organization and relevant SMEs throughout the organization as necessary. This position collaborates with and advises PepsiCo's Governance Council, to which it is accountable for the success of PepsiCos EDG program. * Help identify the need for sector-level data standards (and above) based on strategic business objectives and the evolution of enterprise-level capabilities and analytical requirements * Collaborate across the organization to ensure consistent and effective execution of data governance and management principles across PepsiCo's enterprise and analytical systems and data domains * Accountable for driving organizational acceptance of EDG established data standards, policies, and definitions and process standards for critical / related enterprise data * Promote and champion PepsiCo's EDG Capability and data management program across the organization * 5-7 years in Data Governance or Stewardship role, experience with Consumer data a plus * Understanding of key data management concepts, including how to ingest data, best practice for data use/consumption, data quality, and stewardship * Ability to partner with both business and technical subject matter experts to ensure standardization of operational information and execution of enterprise-wide data governance policies and procedures are defined and implemented * Strong knowledge and understanding of master data elements and processes per the Consumer data domain * Strong communication skills must be able to persuade/influence others at all organization levels and can foster lasting partnerships * Ability to translate business requirements into critical data dependencies and requirements * Ability to think beyond current state (processes, roles and tools) and work towards an unconstrained, optimized design * Experience with data management products and intelligent data services a plus (e.g., Informatica, Collibra) * Self-starter who welcomes responsibility, along with the ability to thrive in an evolving organization and an ability to bring structure to unstructured situations * Excel in implementing & monitoring rules, standards, and controls in relation to metadata management and data quality * Technical experience with a passion for questioning and digging into raw data to identify underlying trends, minimize risk and maximize efficiency a plus * Experience in mining information from structured and unstructured data to distill key insights * Excellent written & verbal communication skills Anonymized data is stored for redirects to the career site tracking successful searches leading to job applications in effort to measure effectiveness of partners in sourcing job candidates and job searches.
