Overview: Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an anesthesiologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/ Harlem. NYC Health + Hospitals/ Harlem is a designated Level 1 Trauma Center and is recognized for providing centers of excellence in the areas of Bariatric Surgery, Breast Imaging and Sexual Assault Forensics. Our teams provide services for nearly 213,000 outpatient visits, more than 83,000 emergency room visits and over 13,000 inpatient admissions annually. Responsibilities: We are currently searching for a dynamic Full time Anesthesiologist to join our outstanding team We have immediate openings and flexible schedules Determines and prescribes kinds of anesthetics and procedures to be employed in various categories of cases - besides the bread and butter we also serve light pediatrics, obstetric, neuro, orthopedics and plastics Advises Anesthetists and Surgeons in cases where age or condition of patient presents unusual or complex problems Recommends suitable anesthesia, advises on dosages and consults on post-operative complications Reviews case histories and is responsible for all matters pertaining to Anesthesiology Lectures to and trains Anesthetists, Residents and auxiliary staff -Daily work includes working with CRNAs, medical students and residents Qualifications: A license to practice Medicine in the State of New York Experience in block placement in upper and lower extremities preferred but not required Board eligible or certified in Anesthesiology Exceptional Benefits include: Base salary, plus paid call, faculty practice plan bonus and additional days paid (sessional). 401K Employer Contribution, Medical benefits plus dental Generous PTO, Sick time and CME days plus CME Dollars Eligibility for loan forgiveness through the National Student Debt Forgiveness Center Visa candidates are considered Annual Base Salary Range: $390,000(board eligible) -$400,000 (board certified) Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is one of the largest multi-disciplinary groups in the country whose main purpose is to nurture and embolden the healthcare providers who take care of the most fragile and vulnerable patients in New York City.
