JOB SUMMARY The Customer Service Coordinator will be the main point of contact for key customers, generating lead opportunities, and provide support to the Customer Service and Sales team. The Customer Service coordinator will have a key role in maintaining our reputation for superior customer service. REPORTING TO Customer Service Manager ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Liaison for the company to key customer(s), ensuring organized order entry and quick issue resolution. Input assigned customer purchase orders and maintain quote log. Verify customer orders and ship dates to ensure accuracy. Track shop orders in house and secondary location(s) and communicate updates appropriately. Review RFQ's for our capabilities as well as other MW site capabilities and forward to appropriate site. Research and pull specs as needed and give diameter/length as well as material type to MW site. Complete any special projects assigned by the manager and create spreadsheets to keep track of information for each project. Follow up on outstanding RFQ's/Orders in a timely manner. Weekly meetings with supervisor to discuss action items and give updates. Maintain complete and accurate customer quotes in Visual Create and implement lead generating communication to customers, via email, and communicate leads to sales team. Maintain customer accounts to reflect accurate shipping addresses, shipping costs, and other pertinent information. Assist in answering and routing incoming calls. SKILLS and ABILITIES Strong verbal and written communication. Ability to read precision component blueprints, preferred. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Versatile and resourceful. Ability to work under strict deadlines. Well versed in Microsoft Office. Must be detail oriented. Prior experience on an ERP and CRM system. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing customer service/sales 2-3 years of experience in project management. 1-2 years of experience in a role with marketing responsibilities.
