What You Will Do Pratt & Whitney, a recognized leading producer of the world's most advanced commercial and military turbine engines, is seeking students to join our organization in an internship capacity during the summer of 2025. The Integrated Business Planning team within Pratt & Whitney includes functions such as Demand and Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Capacity Planning, and Engine & Module Assembly. These professionals within the organization plan for material requirements in support of production processes, planning new engine assembly, and forecasting spare part requirements. Additionally, they are engaged in various processes facilitating the delivery of engines, the continuous improvement of processes, and activities involved in the Sales & Operations Process. They work both in the office cross-functionally, as well as hands on engaged on the shop floor, supporting operations. This unique program led by experienced professionals will ensure that our interns are learning, mentored, and intertwined with the organizations they support by having substantial work and projects. The program provides you with a flexible learning environment to help kick-start your career and provides us the resources to meet our workforce requirements for the future. We are looking for students interested in full-time opportunities in our Development Programs when they graduate. Program Highlights Assignment within the Integrated Business Planning organization Events for P&W interns throughout the summer as well as specialized events for internship organizations Assignment of a peer mentor, and an on-the-job coach/mentor Evaluation periods during and after your assignment with internship supervisor Final presentation to Management Team and Executive Opportunities to interview for full-time rotational Qualifications You Must Have Enrolled in an accredited four-year degree program. You will have at least 30 credits prior to starting your internship Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship. Qualifications We Prefer Preferred fields of study are Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field with a strong interest in Operations and Manufacturing. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility. The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
