For more information, please visit and Job Description/Responsibilities All employees of The Green River Distillery must have the following characteristics: Appreciate and provide excellent customer service. Comfortable interacting daily with distillery customers as well as tour groups and guests in a hospitality focused environment. Excellent team player. Oversee the day-to-day operation of facility maintenance and repair, both routine and preventative. Must demonstrate skilled performance in industrial mechanical and electrical duties, such as PLC, MCC installation and maintenance, distillery equipment maintenance and installation, including but not limited to hydraulics, pneumatics, and pumps. Maintain boiler operation. Maintain softeners. Maintain R.O. System. Must be able to operate a forklift. Oversee operation of cooling towers and chilled water systems. Must have working knowledge of all operations in all areas of the distillery. Maintain equipment in the events and visitor area. Assist in Quality Control testing and any cleaning that may be needed. Read basic electrical schematics and pneumatic schematics. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions as well as procedure manuals. Must be able to read, analyze and record data. Must be able to visually inspect equipment for compliance to SOPs and other safety standards. Commitment for the Company's ISO program including the quality and food safety of our products. Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications/Requirements The successful candidate will have: Minimum of five years of relevant experience. A high school diploma or GED. Must be 21 year of age or older. Strong background in basic electrical, plumbing, welding, pumps, motors, and electronics. Experience in team-based manufacturing environment. Must demonstrate a high level of initiative and problem solving abilities. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Basic computer skills. Have a valid Kentucky driver's license. Physical requirements Must be able to stand; use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; walk; sit; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and occasionally required to climb or balance. Must be able to work in high temperature environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis from floor to shoulder. Must be able to physically navigate around a plant/production environment, including the repetitive climbing of stairs and elevated walkways. Must not be afraid of working heights and be able to ascend and descend ladders and in aerial lifts, as appropriate. Wear Personal Protective Equipment as required.
