We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer - Java and Data Migrations: As a Lead Software Engineer - Java and Data Migrations, you will work with solution architects to architect and implement solutions that enable customers to get the most out of what the client can offer. In this role, you will develop performant and robust Java applications while leading migration efforts on large enterprise initiatives. At InRhythm, you will: Work on a high-velocity scrum teamWork with clients to come up with solutions to real-world problemsArchitect and implement scalable end-to-end Java applicationsWork on data migration tooling and seeking migration performance optimizationsLead a team of 7-9 Elasticsearch engineersFacilitate development processes on your teamDelegate tasks, be responsible for on time delivery, and oversee the team's outputProvide estimates and milestones for featuresstoriesWork with your mentor to learn and grow and mentor less experienced engineersContribute to the growth of InRhythm via interviewing and architecting What you bring to the table (Core Requirements):10+ years of Java development within an enterprise-level domainJava 8 (11 preferred) features like lambda expressions, Stream API, CompletableFuture, etc.Experience with asynchronous programming, multithreading, implementing APIs, and Microservices, including Spring BootStrong experience with data migrations, including strategy planning, performance optimization of migration tools, bottleneck analysis, and 10x migration speed and throughput increasesExperience leading teams, both as a project lead and a people leadQuality assurance of software via modern engineering practicesPrevious experience mentoring and managing more junior team members - delegating tasks, code reviews, performance management and career mappingPrior experience interviewing and assisting in the hiring process strongly desiredProficiency with SQLExperience with data sourcing, data modeling and data enrichmentExperience with Systems Design & CICD pipelinesCloud computing, preferably AWSSolid verbal and written communication and consultantclient-facing skills are a must.
