Our client, a fashion group in Manhattan, is hiring a Customer Service SpecialistOffice Assistant.About the Role: This position will be on site 5x per week. The Customer Service SpecialistOffice Assistant position is a supportive role to the Sales and Production departments through effective communication and the streamlining of operations. This position will be responsible for supporting customer inquiries, ensuring customer satisfaction, providing customer support, and effective communication with clients daily. Responsibilities: Sending tracking information and follow up after items are shipped outLogging, tracking, and following up with repairs and special requests sent in by customers and sales representativesIssuing credit memos for returned and invoiced itemsProcessing and transferring salesperson lines from HQ to shows and eventsProcessing and transferring product and promotional materials needed for permanent salesperson line as well as items requested by sales representatives to customersGenerating invoices delivered from sales lineTaking general sales and memo orders with customers via phone and emailGiving customers estimates on anything that doesn't have to be madeRelaying relevant customer requests and information from HQ to salesGenerating, distributing, and processing orders given by salesperson and customers through phone inquiryTracking, logging, and invoicing memo programs for customersFollowing up with the customers and sales reps for memo retrieval and billing purposes on a monthly and as needed basisFollowing up with production about special orders, repairs, coordinating orders, seeing if items are ready, etcRelaying messages in between production membersVerifying inventory matches PO'sFiling invoices and memorandums accordinglyOrganizing product as it is received to the officeMaintaining the level of supplies needed for supporting marketing and production roles as neededReceiving, logging, and distributing packages to employees dailyAnswering phone calls and emails for general customer product inquiryGreeting visitorsPay range and compensation package: 45-50K annual compensation + benefits
