Job Description Job Responsibilities: Perform ELISAs, cell or tissue culture-based assays on live vaccine products, process intermediates, and related experimental samples Analyze and review data Prepare solutions and culture media Maintain multiple cell lines Good trouble shooting ability with cell lines Maintain records and test results following good manufacturing practices (GMP) Work independently and efficiently Document work clearly and perform tests accurately Communicate effectively with client staff members Qualifications The Ideal Candidate Would Possess: 1-2 years related laboratory experience including aseptic and cell culture techniques is a must have Automation experience preferred but not required Biology, Biochemistry, or Virology Background General laboratory skills and experience with pipettes Experience using formulas and linking spreadsheets in Excel Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies Minimum Qualifications: B.S. in Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or related science and 1+ Years industry Cell Culture experience in a GMP atmosphere Must be willing and able to lift 20 lbs Proficient with Excel Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship Additional Information This position is Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8a.m. - 5:00p.m. with overtime as needed and the potential for some off shift hours as dependent on project.
