Job title: Production Associate Reports to: Production Manager Department: Production Classification: Non-exempt Position Type: Full-time Schedule Type: Flex Schedule Job purpose The Production Associate with a specialty in AcoustiColor processing is responsible for raw material conversion, inventory control, and fulfillment via the AcoustiColor workcenter. This position performs all aspects of AcoustiColor application, equipment maintenance, inventory management, quality control, work center administration, and other shop duties. Duties and responsibilities Primary responsibilities on a daily basis include processing made to stock jobs and made to order jobs, organizing and re-stocking pick locations, work order communication and administration. Accurate and timely job processing Inventory maintenance including: cycle counting, quality control, organization, restocking, and rotation Maintain a clean and orderly AcoustiColor work center Follow all safety protocol and warehouse procedures Qualifications Skills and Abilities: Strong mechanical aptitude Detail oriented Driven team player and works well with all departments Ability to work independently Ability to follow a process consistently Demonstrated ability to regularly meet deadlines and goals Self-motivated and focused on the job at hand Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to change project midway, flexible Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required Proven work experience in a warehouse environment Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other necessary warehouse equipment Good working knowledge of warehouse data systems and comfortable with computers Common knowledge of basic and intermediate hand tools as well as metrology tools Prior woodworking & power tool experience a plus Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 65 pounds safely Ability to stand for long periods of time and be actively moving Work in a warehouse environment where temperatures may fluctuate This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the job and the general nature and level of work performed by job holders within this job.
