Electrical Design Engineer

Work directly for our Central New Jersey client that is a reputable building engineering firm. Summary - Electrical Design Engineer Job duties - - Design lighting and power systems for all building types The ideal candidate is an established engineer who has developed their design skills on a range of projects, has a solid understanding of mechanical system basics, and is looking to assume a more significant role in the development of the mechanical system designs. Job Requirements Requirements - -Bachelor"s Degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering (concentration in electrical design) -6+ years of relevant professional experience in electrical building design -Experience with AutoCAD is required -Experience with Revit preferred -Experience in following project types: education, civic/government, financial services, retail, office, interior renovation, high tech/R&D, mission critical/data centers, and healthcare -Knowledge of the LEED certification process (LEED Accreditation is a plus) -Strong written and verbal communication skills required -Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) required. -Passion for sustainability -Creativity and a passion for problem-solving and critical thinking -Ability to collaborate in a team setting -US Driver"s license is required -Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and access job site areas that are relevant to each client project.
