Job ID 44179 Location Chicago, Illinois Add to Favorite Jobs Email this Job The Department of Anesthesiology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor to function in the role of Division Head of Academic & Clinical Pediatric Anesthesiology. Responsibilities include: Providing clinical anesthesia care to pediatric patients at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, as well as Radiology and Hematology-Oncology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital & the Proton Center Participation in the educational programs of the Department and Medical School, which may include teaching and education of students and house staff, as well as actively contribute to the research programs of the department Functioning as a consultant and advisor to Lurie Children's in the Hospital's Anesthesia program and to monitor and evaluate the deliver of medical service sin the program to ensure quality patient care Developing and implementing strategies to ensure excellence in the Program's services and assisting in development plans to support continued growth of the program Communication with surgical and procedural partners to ensure best practices and identify and promote various opportunities for faculty and trainees for the division Qualified candidates will be American Board of Anesthesiology certified or board-eligible.
