Position: Tax Preparer and Advisor Location: Plainsboro, NJ (Hybrid) Salary: 80k - 115k + Bonus Dynamic Financial Advisory firm seeks a Tax Preparer to join their Team! Responsibilities: Prepare and review personal tax returns with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations. Utilize expertise in tax preparation software and tools to optimize the tax filing process. Collaborate with team members to handle complex tax matters for individuals, trusts, and small businesses. Conduct thorough research on tax issues and provide insightful recommendations to clients. Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and address inquiries promptly. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and changes to ensure compliance and maximize tax-saving opportunities. Assist in the preparation and review of trust and small business tax returns as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree Experience preparing personal tax returns Experience preparing trust and small business tax returns CPA or EA credentials are a plus Experience with Ultratax a plus
