Responsibilities of Customer Service Representative include, but are not limited to: Handle high call volume and processing customer phone orders Responding to customer inquiries regarding company products, services and orders Quoting prices, filling orders to customer specifications and processing sales data via computer Checking availability of stock and shipping dates Assisting the outside sales team by preparing price quotes and sourcing products Work closely with our suppliers on availability, open order delivery times and resolutions Assist Purchasing Department as needed Qualifications of the Customer Service Representative include, but are not limited to: 2 - 3 years of experience with industrial pumps and rotating equipment Prior inside sales/customer service experience Must be extremely customer focused, detail oriented, work at a fast pace, be highly organized and able to multi-task and re-prioritize tasks on an ongoing basis Prior use of a CRM platform is preferred Excellent communication skills and phone presence Should be enthusiastic and able to work independently Tech savvy with ability to work in a multi-screen environment Data entry skills #LI-YJ1 Additional Information Working Conditions: Office environment Training/Certifications: N/A Shift Time/Overtime: Normal in-person business hours Monday-Friday / 8:30 am - 5 pm Travel: No travel required Education: High School Diploma DXP is always looking for individuals who want to join a team of employees who have the desire to achieve remarkable accomplishments together.
