The Tax Sr. Accountant will be a key member of the finance team, responsible for managing corporate income taxes for affiliates and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory deadlines. This role will also play a vital part in international tax operations, focusing on U.S income taxes and tax planning strategies. Responsibilities: Analyze and interpret financial data to accurately report the company's tax position. Collaborate with external accounting firms to prepare timely and accurate tax filings for all entities. Research and interpret tax laws and regulations as needed. Ensure compliance with jurisdictional regulations, internal policies, and procedures. Identify and implement technology solutions to streamline tax processes and improve efficiency. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the relationship between accounting records and tax reporting requirements. Provide support for financial audits of entities. Manage tax audits and notices. Reconcile tax-related general ledger accounts. Requirements: 8+ years of tax experience, including a strong understanding of tax law and codes. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, negotiation, reasoning, and problem-solving. Demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to interpret business needs. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field with an Accounting Certificate. CPA (active or in progress). Recommended Qualifications: Master's degree in Taxation. Thorough knowledge and experience in international income tax laws. Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP software. Familiarity with common tax research software tools.
