Dosimetry Analysis Expert The Radiation Engineering & Analysis group is looking to hire a an experienced engineer (or similarly experienced individual) with expertise dosimetry analysis. Job Responsibilities REA has supported the design and analysis of PWRs since the early days of the commercial nuclear power industry. Its scope has expanded from the Westinghouse fleet to include the Combustion Engineering PWR fleet, the BWR fleet, and several advanced reactor designs such as the Westinghouse AP1000® plant, AP300TM small modular reactor, and eVinciTM microreactor. Our market is global with customers in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas, covering the operating fleet, decommissioning, and new build. To meet this demand, our staff is also global with engineers in the U.S., Spain, Germany, and India. The candidate will be responsible for enhancing the dosimetry counting capabilities within Westinghouse. Update and establish counting procedures as needed Lead hardware setup and configuration Perform dosimetry counting Train others on processes, procedures, and best practices Occasional travel is unlikely but may be required. The work would be performed out of the Waltz Mill and Churchill locations in Western PA. Position Requirements A successful candidate will possess the following attributes: 10+ years applicable experience in dosimetry counting Extensive dosimetry counting knowledge, including procedure writing Proven leadership skills Management of teams in challenging situations Interactions with customers Ability to navigate Westinghouse internal structure and processes Strong technical skills combined with an ability to multi-task and prioritize work tasks The following characteristics are preferred but not required: Prior experience with Westinghouse surveillance capsules and/or EVND Employment opportunities may require access to information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
