For more than 26 years, we have provided on-site educational services in hospitals, helping these school-age patients continue their education during treatment and reintegrate successfully into the classroom. With a network of over 200 educators, we strive to make a positive impact for generations to come.Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative teachers to join our team in Naperville, IL. This unique position will involve working to provide academic support to adolescent school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress as needed. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Most of our class sizes range from 8 to 15 school-age patients at any one time.We have a few positions available:Part time 20 hours a week - 7:30-11:30 or 8:00-12:00 (year round)Part time 20 hours a week - 12:00-4:00 (school year only)Full time 40 hours a week - 7:30-4:00 or 8:00-4:30 (year round with the option for afternoons off in the summer)We offer a very generous package of paid time off including vacation time, sick time, federal holidays, and paid school breaks.
