Job purpose Under the supervision of the Director of Marketing, the incumbent is responsible for assisting with the various areas of marketing, including direct mail, advertising, entertainment, promotions, special events, and player development. Duties and responsibilities Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Illinois Gaming Board (IGB) Rules and Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Company and departmental policies and procedures. Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees. Provide administrative support for Events and Promotions, Advertising, and Direct Marketing. Assist with daily financial functions such as processing purchase orders, check requests and tracking expenses. Assists with travel arrangements and expense report preparation. Orders departmental supplies. Handles and responds to guest inquiries and complaints. Assists with the planning and execution of marketing events, promotions, and player events as requested. Work as greeter at the front podium and as a floor host as needed. Run marketing reports as required. Load offers to players' accounts. Supports department heads in communicating information property-wide. Stay abreast of current trends and practices within area of responsibility and communicate pertinent information to management, peers, direct reports and employees as appropriate. Promote positive public/employee relations at all times. Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility. Safeguard the confidential information of all employee, department, and company records. Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations. Ensure prompt and discreet notification to management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Two (2) years of professional experience in Marketing or related work preferred. Ability to obtain a gaming license. Self-starter with keen ability to prioritize and time manage. Must have solid decision-making, organization, and interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal communication skills are required. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasking, hands-on environment. Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationships with all individuals. Ability to work occasional overtime and irregular hours.
