SUMMARY Monitor and assess the nutritional status of patients in the Ambulatory Unit (Primary Care) as it relates to disease state including patients on enteral and parenteral nutrition. Counsel and instruct patients according to the prescribed diet. Adapt to standard diets to individual physical, cultural, and socioeconomic conditions and religious preferences.
