Job Description: A regional property and casualty insurance company is seeking a Commercial Lines Sales Distribution Leader. The Commercial Lines Sales Distribution Leader is a new position responsible for the continued expansion of the organization's geographic footprint in six states and a robust product suite. The primary responsibilities of this strategic leader will be to grow the organization's exclusive agency partners in new states, manage agency engagementand contribute to the overall business strategy ofbringing the organization to a top market.Additionally, this professionalwill coach and mentor internal sales staff, as well ascommunicate strategic goals and tactics to senior and executive leadership to meet the company's growth targets. This leader will ensure the organization is operating at optimal levels with each agency partner, while source producing and recommending new agency appointments. TheCommercial Lines Sales Distribution Leaderwill be critical in the refinement of the independent agent sales strategy and will drive the financial results of the designated agencies for profitable premium and policy growth and organizational development. This is a retained search. Responsibilities: Work with the assistant vice president of sales todevelop and execute agency sales plans designed to achieve business objectives, along with appropriate measurement of progress. Analyze and manage performance at all levels for assigned distribution partnersas it relates to all major key performance indicators. This will include partner performance versus commitments on new business, submissions, quote and bind ratios, retention, profitability, book mix, and other related indicators. Oversee the coordination of all aspects of sales, training and operational support for all levels of the sales team. Coach assigned sales staff to monitorand executeplans as theyrelateto specific agency account pipeline management, includingfollow ups, agency visitations, communications of appetite, coveragesand cross-sell opportunities. Coordinate sales and marketing strategic plans, implementations and monitoring of results achieved. Create and monitor agency contact strategy and solicit feedback for improvements. Requirements: 10+ years of commercial property and casualty insurance company sales leadership experience Proven track record of partnering with executive leadership, resulting in the development and implementation of business strategies that drive profitable growth Agency contacts in the Mid-Atlantic region(preferred) Bachelor's degree or higher (preferred) Ability to obtain property and casualty licenses in N.J., N.Y., Pa., Conn., Ohioand Del.
