What You Will Contribute to OHM Advisors As an IT Support Technician for our Livonia office, you will be responsible for providing solutions for hardware and software issues received through our IT Service Desk. You will also be responsible for managing and maintaining a local inventory of computer assets as part of staff onboarding and an ongoing hardware refresh program for current staff. You will be part of the onsite IT Support team residing in Livonia and serving its companion offices in the Metro Detroit/Mid-Michigan area. You will receive direction and local support from your supervisor while working alongside your IT Team members. Additional assignments and responsibilities may be given as scheduling and ability permits. Your Responsibilities: Provide software and hardware support and resolve issues. Prepare and deploy computers and associated peripheral hardware. Manage local inventory of computer assets. Provide occasional after-hours support. As-needed travel to remote offices (within 3-hour drive radius). Requirements: 1+ year of equivalent work experience in an IT support role or active enrollment in a relevant degree program. Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and mobile devices. Experience with Microsoft Windows 10 / 11 & Microsoft Office 365. Excellent interpersonal communications skills. Preferred Qualifications: CompTIA and/or Microsoft Certification(s) is a plus. What We Offer Our staff is our greatest asset.
