With a strong team and backing they are expanding their team and operations to continue on that mission! Job Description 1.Supervise the work of employees who may be assigned to work on project. 2. Manage and enforce company safety policy on job site and among subcontractors. Maintain required safety documentation on site as requires, issue violation notices and accident reports as required. 3. Manage the construction schedule by scheduling the necessary subcontractor in the time frame they are needed and ensure that they stay on schedule to complete their phase of the project on time with the quality of work up to company standard. 4. Maintain a record of all daily job site activities on the designated company record keeping documents such as daily logs and pictures. Upload to company server. 5. Maintains a Potential Change Order workbook keeping it accurate to current costs and projections. 6. Develop and maintain a Project Construction Schedule coordinating the same with the Client, subcontractors, and suppliers. 7. Prepare for and create agenda to conduct subcontractor and owner meetings. 8. Reviews submittals and field checks dimensions. 9. Foresee potential problem areas and develop methods to solve problem situations. 10. Ensure that the proper materials are delivered to the job site in a timely manner and that the quantity and quality of all materials are what is required for the job. 11. Arrange for the rental of necessary equipment and assure the most efficient use of such equipment. See that equipment is delivered/picked up in time and returned promptly when no longer needed. 12. Ensure that the job site including the job office is clean and orderly and manage the subcontractors to ensure that they maintain a clean and orderly workplace. 13. Perform physical labor when necessary to assure timely completion of a project. 14. Attend and participate in company meetings as required. 15. Assist in bidding certain phases of the projects including subcontractor and supplier prequalification and selection along with putting together potential change orders for the Sr. Project Manager to present to the client. 16. Promote and support the Company's Accident Prevention and Safety and Health Programs and Drug-Free Workplace Policy. 17. The Successful Applicant At least 5+ years of Superintendent experience required and 2 years experience supervising other employees. 2 years of Construction Management education or equivalent experience. Must have valid driver's license and insurance. Must be able to work for extended periods of time at remote construction project sites in Ohio and surrounding states. Must have reliable transportation to get to various work sites. Must be familiar with conventional construction drawings. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows and related Microsoft Office software systems. Must be physically able to assist our employees and subcontractor's employees with some amount of lifting, pushing and pulling (up to 90 pounds). Must be able to effectively supervise the work of other employees. Must be able to coordinate the work of other contractors and sub contractors. Must have excellent communication skills.
