Overview: Come join our team working for the world's leading provider of inkjet printheads for commercial and industrial printing. External : POSITION SUMMARY: Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues. S enior Business Systems Analyst plays leadership role in areas of documentation and data control, Quality systems, Engineering Change Management, ERP and Manufacturing Execution System . KNOWLEDGE Applies broad expertise and knowledge in highly specialized fields or several related disciplines. Leads and contributes to development of company objectives and principles to achieve goals in creative and effective ways. COMPLEXITY Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Requires conceptual thinking to understand advanced issues and implications. Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Accountable for results, which may impact the entire function. COLLABORATION & INTERACTION Creates formal networks involving coordination among groups. Focuses on providing thought leadership and works on broader organization projects, which requires understanding of wider business. Requires conveying advanced information and persuading several diverse stakeholders/audiences. Recognized internally as a subject matter expert. May direct the activities of others. EXPERIENCE Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelors degree; or 8 years and a Masters degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Analyze, design and implement new systems and enhancements Addressing functional problems from initial investigation through design, development and implementation Develop and maintain software solutions for complex business issues Responsible for project planning, including scope, tasks, deliverables, milestones and documentation Coordinate, guide and document user requirements for systems to be developed or modified Report writing, Data Mart/Data Warehousing development, ERP, and MES application support Make use of engineering and manufacturing expertise to analyze and implement major cost reduction programs.
