Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design electrical systems and components that meet project requirements, adhere to industry standards, and align with the company's goals and objectives. Create detailed circuit diagrams, schematics, and layouts using computer-aided design (CAD) AutoCAD Electrical tools to ensure proper functionality and integration of electrical components. Build and test prototypes to evaluate the performance of electrical systems, identify potential issues, and implement necessary improvements. Integrate electrical systems into overall product designs, considering factors such as size, weight, and power consumption. Research and select appropriate electrical components, ensuring they meet project specifications, quality standards, and cost constraints. Ensure that all electrical designs comply with relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and product managers, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within the overall product design. Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports. Investigate and resolve electrical system malfunctions, providing support for production and post-production activities. Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical engineering and identify opportunities to leverage new technologies to improve product performance and efficiency. Requirements: BS or associate degree in electrical engineering and/or equivalency Proficiency in electrical design, analysis, and simulation tools (e.g., Altium, SPICE). Solid understanding of electronic components and their applications. Relevant experience in electrical engineering, product design, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to tackle complex electrical engineering challenges. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams. Demonstrated ability to think creatively and contribute to the development of innovative solutions. Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliability in electrical designs. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements. Familiarity with relevant electrical safety standards and regulatory requirements. Physical Requirements: Safely and effectively lift, carry, and move objects of varying weights. Bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, climbing, balancing, standing, and walking, for extended periods and maintain the necessary physical dexterity and coordination. Work in various environmental conditions, which may include exposure to varying temperatures, weather, and noise levels.
