Medication Technician

We are looking for a compassionate caregiver/CNA/Medication Technician to join our growing team on our third shift! The right candidate has a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide many levels of support to our clients. We offer a referral bonus up to an additional $1,000. Bring a friend in and after 30 days $200 and after 90 days an additional $800. Hourly Range  $16.00-$21.00  No wage Cap! Room for advancement! OnShift Engage Rewards: Earn gift cards to all of your favorite vendors Responsibilities Medication pass after successful completion of training program and test Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating Help residents take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.) Assist with physical therapy exercises Perform housekeeping tasks as necessary   Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary Qualifications Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties Valid driver's license and reliable transportation  Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner Willingness to enforce health and safety standards Supportive and compassionate High School Diploma or equivalent Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or completion of a CNA Program (Preferred but not necessary) Take pride in providing high quality care Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client) Have a look at Bay Ridge Assisted Living Center Google Reviews for first hand testimonials from residents and family to learn about our reputation!
