The Research Technician safely performs specialized R&D assignments, involving testing, analyzing, improving, installing, operating, and/or solving problems concerning our processes, equipment, and products for pre-applied and liquid waterproofing group. - Main responsibilities include: Prepares/processes materials samples including: Active involvement in standard and exploratory experiment design for pre-applied and liquid waterproofing materials. Routine laboratory activity to make or prep materials and test samples, Development work with non-routine R&D assignments such as the design of fixtures for experimental set-up and establishing proper data acquisition. Collects data and reports scientific and engineering data from laboratory equipment. Maintains laboratories and equipment including set-up, operation and troubleshooting of experimental equipment or instruments. High School diploma with 1-5 years of experience Knowledge of MS Office Hands on experience in general laboratory including proper chemical handling.
